Bishop A. Carter is the oldest of two children born to Elder Jesse Carter and Evangelist Eloise Carter. He was saved at an early age, being baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost in 1974.

Bishop A. Carter has been pasturing and preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ for 18 years. His ministry operates in the prophetic, in deliverance, in healing and in restoration. He has been the Sheppard over Prayer Outreach Deliverance Church since 1991.

Acts 2:42 “And they continued steadfastly, in the apostle’s doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.”

Bishop A. Carter works full time in the travel industry over the past 19 years in addition to being a full time Pastor; all while remaining true to the apostolic foundation as he continues to bridge the gap, evangelizing to reach the masses without compromising the apostolic doctrine. He has attended Trinity College and continues his seminary education on an ongoing basis working on his Doctrine of Theology.

Bishop A. Carter has been chosen by God to go out into all nations teaching the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, while perfecting excellent stewardship. Hebrews 12:14 “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.”

Prayer Outreach Deliverance Church, Evangelistic In Jesus Christ, Inc. is affiliated with Bible Way Church Of Our Lord Jesus Christ Worldwide, Inc under Chief Apostle and Presiding Bishop, Huie L. Rogers. Bishop A. Carter was appointed to the General Board of Bishops of Bible Way Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ Worldwide, Inc. in July of 2007.

In 2008, God has mandated Bishop A. Carter to expound on the issues of life and Empower the Body of Christ through, repentance, baptism, redemption, divine health and divine prosperity as he preaches, teaches and moves in the gifts of knowledge, wisdom and exhortation through the Word of God, all while remaining the chosen, humble vessel in the hands of Jesus Christ with integrity and compassion!
